David Zhou
Senior Portfolio Manager
David is a seasoned investment professional who brings a disciplined, research-driven approach to portfolio management. He spent a decade with Aberdeen, where he played a key role in building the Multi-Asset team in Singapore, served as a voting member of the Equity Steering Group, and was a permanent contributor to the Global Asset Allocation and Research Committee. During this time, he also managed multi-asset portfolios for government institutions across Asia, achieving a strong track record of strategy performance. Previously, he held positions at Deutsche Bank and Platinum Securities.

David holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from Imperial College Business School and a double degree in Aerospace Engineering and Economics from Nanyang Technological University.

An avid tennis player, David sees strong parallels between tennis and investing—reading opponents’ serves accurately, staying grounded, and striking decisively. He also enjoys fine wine, with a particular appreciation for Bordeaux red, known for its elegant balance of power and finesse.
